The elite DefenceX Shield turnout rug is a high specification rug that has been expertly crafted from a ballistic 1200 denier waterproof and ripstop material to offer ultimate protection. This 50g rug is perfect for when a lighter layer is needed to protect your horse from the inclement weather. Featuring a snug fit detachable neck with double locking touch tape fastenings for an easy yet secure attachment, that includes an elasticated poll to reduce wind chill and provide a cosy fit. An innovative, specially shaped tail flap offers ultimate coverage from rain and wind, detailed with reflective detailing, as well as on the body of the rug and neck to optimise visibility in low light conditions. The mid-rise, generous shoulder gusset allows for full freedom of movement and memory foam padded wither has been expertly designed to guarantee comfort by aiding with alleviating pressure off the wither. The deep cut design is securely fastened with adjustable cross-surcingle with elasticated inserts and twin buckle clip chest fastenings for stability and to offer the perfect fit. Finished with the choice of wipe-clean fillet string and adjustable leg straps, so the rug can be tailored to suit each individual horse.
