Elasticated Girths

An elasticated girth uses stretch panels at one or both ends to move with your horse as they breathe and work, which can help reduce rubbing and pressure points compared with a fully rigid girth. Fit matters as much as material: the girth should sit snugly without pinching, roughly a hand's width behind the elbow, and if your horse has previously suffered from girth galls or an ill-fitting girth, a saddle fitter can help you choose the right shape and elastic placement for their conformation.
