Sprenger Rubber Spur Protectors are essential when using metal spurs with zip backed riding boots or expensive leather riding boots. The Sprenger Spur Protector's rubber sleeve wraps around the spur to help prevent rubbing and wear, and also helps to keep the spurs in place.
The Sprenger Rubber Spur Protectors also help to stop the spur rubbing your ankle if the riding boots are made from very thin leather.
