Rein stoppers are used to prevent the running section of the martingale from slipping down toward the bit preventing excessive movement in your martingale, helping to ensure that the martingale comes into action correctly.
We thoroughly recommend soaking rubber rein stops in warm water prior to stretching them over your reins as this can make it far easier to put them in the correct position.
The Shires Rubber Rein Stops are supplied in pairs and are available in black, brown or white.
