Designed for demanding cross-country riding, the Shires ARMA Carbon XC Boots – Hind Black offer lightweight, high-performance protection for your horse’s hind legs. Combining carbon-textured protection, shock-absorbing materials and targeted ventilation, these hind cross-country boots help defend the cannon bones and tendons from knocks, strikes and impact while galloping and jumping.

Advanced Triple Impact Support

The ARMA Carbon XC Boots feature a Triple Impact Support System, combining carefully selected protective layers to support the horse’s legs without unnecessary bulk.

• Tough carbon-textured outer technology provides abrasion and puncture resistance for demanding cross-country conditions.
• A shock-absorbing EVA foam centre helps cushion the leg against impact.
• A soft-grip lining helps keep each boot securely positioned during fast work and jumping.

Inside the boot, the ActionGuard strike protection pack provides additional defence around the cannon bone. A flexible PE shock-resistant brace works alongside Poron® high-density foam buffers to help protect against bruising and contact injuries.

Ergonomic 360° Leg Protection

Designed to mould comfortably around the contours of the horse’s leg, these Shires cross-country boots provide flexible 360° protection. The extended boot height also offers additional coverage against strike injuries caused by the opposite hoof.

Soft bindings help reduce pressure around the boot edges, while wide adjustable straps with elasticated inserts distribute pressure more evenly and provide a secure, comfortable fit.

XCHARGE Ventilation for Cooler Legs

XCHARGE ventilation channels encourage fresh air deep into the boot while helping heat and moisture escape, promoting a cooler, drier and more comfortable environment around the leg during strenuous exercise.

Lightweight, Water-Resistant Construction

Every layer has been selected with performance in mind. The lightweight, water-resistant construction helps prevent the boots from becoming unnecessarily heavy when travelling through water, making them well suited to the varied conditions encountered during cross-country riding.

We offer FREE Royal Mail economy delivery on eligible UK mainland orders over £60.
