Description
The Riding World Grey Sweet Itch Hood is designed to match the popular Riding World Grey Sweet Itch Rug and gives excellent, all-round protection to the whole of the horse's head, particularly the poll and crest which are typically areas most prone to irritation. This hood is made from 100% soft and tightly woven polyester, this sweet itch hood will prevent the smallest of insects and midges from coming into contact with the horse's skin.
This hood is quick-drying and wicking to ensure your horse is comfortable, even in warmer temperatures. It also offers great UV protection, making it an ideal choice for horses which have photosensitivity or sensitive skin. The cut-out sections around the eyes are designed so as not to rub or chafe this sensitive areas. This hood also ensures the horse's ears are fully covered and protected. The cut of this hood extends down the neck to tuck securely underneath the Equi-Theme Sweet Itch Rug to ensure there are no gaps for flies or insects to get beneath the hood.
