NAF Sand Gard Pellets are a palatable, easy-to-feed supplement designed to support the healthy movement of material through the gut and providing herbal ingredients to naturally 'sweep' out excesses that have accumulated in the gut. Sand Gard Pellets also provide live probiotic yeasts to support a healthy microflora population within the gut. They can be fed regularly for long term maintenance of optimum gut health in horses which may be ingesting sandy soil.
NAF Sand Gard Pellets are of the greatest benefit when horses are grazing on very dry, dusty or sandy soil which may then be ingested. The body can deal with small amounts but if sand and soils becomes accumulated within the gut it can create digestive upset.
