Meolinq MeoTemp Horse Rug Temperature Sensor
Not sure whether your horse is too warm under their rug, or wondering if they need an extra layer when the temperature drops? The Meolinq MeoTemp Horse Rug Temperature Sensor takes the guesswork out of rugging by measuring the temperature underneath your horse's rug, helping you make more informed decisions about what your horse should wear.
Simply attach MeoTemp to the inside of your horse's rug and let it monitor the temperature beneath it. When you next visit your horse, the built-in display lets you check the temperature data directly on the sensor, with no app, Bluetooth or mobile connection required.
MeoTemp records temperature changes over a rolling 48-hour period, including high and low temperature trends. This gives you a much better picture of how comfortable your horse has been through changing daytime and overnight conditions, rather than relying solely on the outside temperature or weather forecast.
Take the Guesswork Out of Rugging Your Horse
Choosing the right horse rug isn't simply a case of checking the weather forecast. Whether your horse is clipped, their age, condition, shelter, forage intake and individual tolerance to the cold can all influence how warm they feel.
MeoTemp measures the temperature underneath the rug, close to your horse, giving you useful information about the conditions they are actually experiencing.
If temperatures beneath the rug are getting higher than expected during a mild or sunny afternoon, you can consider whether a lighter rug may be more suitable. If temperatures are falling significantly during colder periods overnight, the information can help you decide whether your horse may benefit from a warmer rug.

By recording the conditions underneath the rug throughout the day and night, MeoTemp gives you additional information to help understand how your horse's rug is performing over time.
