The Mackey Flexi Continental 3 Ring Mullen Gag is designed for riders seeking a softer alternative to a traditional metal bit without compromising on control.

The flexible polyurethane-covered mullen mouthpiece feels warmer and softer in the horse’s mouth, making it suitable for horses that are sensitive to metal bits or prefer a kinder contact.

The Continental, also known as a Dutch gag, cheek design allows the level of leverage to be adjusted by changing the rein position. Lowering the rein onto one of the lower rings increases poll pressure and provides additional control when required.

The smooth mullen mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly across the tongue, lips and bars. It does not create the nutcracker action associated with a jointed mouthpiece.

This versatile horse bit can be used with one rein, two reins or roundings, allowing riders to tailor its action to suit the horse and activity.
