The LeMieux Bramble Breakaway Vogue Headcollar & Leadrope combines the much-loved look and comfort of the Vogue Headcollar with added breakaway release points, making it a practical option for turnout.

Made from tough, durable nylon webbing in a stylish colour-drenched Bramble finish, this LeMieux headcollar features soft, quick-drying neoprene padding over the nose and poll. This helps distribute pressure evenly while providing extra comfort for your horse. Lined cheekpieces also help to reduce rubbing during wear.

For a comfortable, secure fit, the headcollar offers multiple adjustment points, including a twin-pin buckle headpiece and an adjustable curb strap. Hook-and-loop breakaway sections at both the headpiece and noseband are designed to release in an emergency, providing an additional safety feature when the headcollar is worn in the field.

Breakaway Headcollar Safety

The breakaway sections are designed to provide an additional release option in an emergency, but no breakaway system can guarantee release in every situation. Always consider your horse's individual behaviour and environment when deciding whether a headcollar is appropriate for turnout.

For the breakaway feature to work as intended, keep the hook-and-loop release areas clean and free from dirt, hair and debris. Use your judgement when handling or turning out sensitive, strong or high-energy horses.
