The JP Korsteel Stainless Steel French Link Eggbutt Snaffle Bit features a french link joint and a unique curved mouthpiece.
The JP Korsteel range is designed to offer improved comfort for your horse, with the unique curved mouthpiece offering many advantages. The design of the mouthpiece eliminates the "nutcracker" tongue-pinching action of conventional bits, while also preventing the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth. It also avoids putting direct pressure on the sensitive tongue and bar areas. As a result this mouthpiece also replaces bit interferance with humane comfort and encourages relaxation and salivation, allowing for effective communication between horse and rider.
The fixed eggbutt cheek prevents the lips from being pinched and also lessens the vibrations felt by the horse's mouth from the rider's hands. This bit is quite mild.
