The Rhino® Pony Turnout 250g with Vari-Layer® Technology offers maximum warmth without bulk, making it the perfect mediumweight turnout rug for ponies in cold weather. Cut specifically for pony proportions, it blends technical innovation with a comfort-focused fit.
Crafted with a durable 1000D polypropylene outer, this rug is 30% stronger than standard polyester fabrics and backed by Horseware®’s exclusive Barrier Layer Technology, keeping your pony dry, waterproofed, and breathable, even if the outer layer becomes compromised.
The 250g Thermobonded fibrefill is distributed using Vari-Layer® technology, focusing warmth over the back and hips where it’s most needed—reducing overall bulk while retaining heat more effectively. The shine-enhancing, anti-static, and anti-bacterial lining supports coat health and comfort during extended wear.
Featuring a V-Front Closure, front leg arches, cross surcingles, a wipe-clean tail cord, and reflective strips for enhanced visibility, this rug is both practical and secure. It’s also hood and liner compatible, with rear loops for optional leg strap use.
