Hibiwash Anti-Bacterial Wash is a trusted solution for everyday hygiene and infection prevention. Featuring 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate, it effectively targets a wide spectrum of bacteria, yeasts, fungi, and certain viruses.
Designed to support skin integrity and reduce infection risks, Hibiwash is commonly used before surgical procedures to minimize the chance of surgical site infections (SSI). Studies show regular use can lower the risk of SSIs by up to 30% within 30 days after surgery. Additionally, when paired with a nasal antibiotic, it can reduce the risk of hospital-acquired S. aureus infections by up to 60%.
Hibiwash works by binding to the skin, creating a long-lasting protective barrier that continues to eliminate harmful microorganisms, without being absorbed into the skin. Unlike povidone iodine, Hibiwash remains effective even in the presence of bodily fluids.
Reformulated for sustainability, Hibiwash now uses fewer raw materials and less energy in its production. With no added color, fragrance, or traces of soya oil, it minimizes the risk of skin irritation or allergic reactions, enhancing patient compliance. It also contains emollients, making it gentle on the skin even with frequent use.
