The Freejump Soft'Up Classic+ Pearl Navy/Black Stirrups combine advanced safety technology, exceptional comfort and elegant styling. Developed as an evolution of the popular Soft'Up Classic, the Soft'Up Classic+ features a platform that is 27% wider, providing a larger contact area between the rider's foot and the stirrup. This wider tread increases stability, improves comfort and delivers greater confidence across all riding disciplines, from show jumping and eventing to everyday riding.
The Soft'Up Classic+ was created through a collaboration between international show jumper Pénélope Leprévost and renowned Italian design house Pininfarina. The result is a stirrup that seamlessly combines elegant aesthetics with cutting-edge functionality.
The straight eye design naturally encourages the ball of the foot to sit correctly within the stirrup, helping riders achieve a more secure and stable lower leg position. Combined with the forward-shifted centre of gravity, the stirrup promotes natural heel engagement and supports improved riding posture.
At the heart of the design is Freejump's innovative single-branch technology. Manufactured from hardened spring steel with exceptional mechanical resistance, the single branch acts as an integrated suspension system. This helps absorb shocks and vibrations experienced during riding, reducing strain on the rider's ankles, knees and joints while also helping to reduce pressure on the horse's back.
The flexible outer branch is manufactured from Elastollan®, an advanced material designed to deform under pressure and assist with foot release during a fall. This important safety feature has helped establish Freejump as one of the leading names in equestrian safety stirrup design.
The ultra-wide ergonomic tread features a rounded rear edge to minimise pressure points on the arch of the foot during long periods in the saddle. The super grip platform incorporates removable and replaceable steel studs that deliver exceptional traction in all weather conditions. Fibreglass reinforcement within the tread ensures outstanding durability for long-term use.
The Soft'Up Classic+ pairs particularly well with Freejump Stirrup Leathers, especially the Classic Wide and 4X6 models, which have been designed to complement the wider stirrup eye. However, the stirrups remain fully compatible with all standard stirrup leathers.
