The Bucas Smartex Neck Light is the perfect lightweight neck cover to pair with any rug in the Bucas Smartex range. Designed to provide additional coverage and protection without added insulation, this neck cover is ideal for use in mild or wet weather, or layered as needed for extra versatility.
Made with a strong and durable 1680D ballistic nylon outer, the Smartex Neck Light offers the same high level of performance as the Smartex turnout rugs. It is fully waterproof (over 5000 mm hydrostatic head) and breathable (over 3000 g/24h/m²), helping to shield your horse from rain and wind while allowing moisture and excess heat to escape.
Inside, the Stay-dry fleece lining allows the neck to be used directly on a wet horse. This smart lining wicks away moisture, drying the coat efficiently and remaining dry against the skin, which helps to reduce the need for multiple rug changes. The lining also includes anti-bacterial properties, supporting skin health and reducing the risk of irritation.
The lightweight, no-fill design makes this neck piece ideal for horses that don’t need extra warmth but still benefit from added coverage in unpredictable weather. Easy-to-use fastenings ensure a secure and snug fit when attached to any compatible Bucas Smartex rug.
