Made from a fine mesh polyester fabric, the rug is lightweight, breathable and quick-drying, helping to keep your horse cool and comfortable even in hot, humid weather. It shields against biting insects and offers a level of UV protection to help prevent coat bleaching and sun sensitivity.
The rug is designed with a contoured fit for comfort and freedom of movement, and it features a silk-feel lining at the shoulders to reduce rubbing and maintain a healthy coat. Practical fastenings such as the overlap T-bar front closure with hook and loop strap, cross surcingles and a fillet string ensure the rug stays securely in place during turnout.
