The Bucas Rain Zebra Rug is perfect for use in the fly season on rainy days. This super stylish rug has a wide range of features which make it one of the best fly rugs on the market.
The design of this rug includes a new integrated neck and a waterproof upper to give the horse full protection from both fly bites and rain. The entire rug is breathable which helps to minimise sweating, whilst the white sun reflective upper helps to reflect the sunlight away from the horse, helping to keep them cool and comfortable all day long. The Zebra Rain Rug has a mesh lining underneath the reflective material which helps with the flow of air under the rug, keeping the body cool even in hot weather. A built in tail flap also helps to keep flies away from the horses tail, and can offer a higher level of protection from bites.
The chest panel crosses over and has light padding to prevent the shoulders being rubbed and irritated when the item is worn for a long time. There are shoulder darts at each side to allow a wide range of movement and prevent your horse feeling restricted when playing in the field. A lightweight detachable belly pad helps to hold the rug in place even when the horse rolls. There are also leg strap attachments to help keep the back of the rug in place and prevent sliding.
