The Bucas Buzz-Off Rain Detachable Neck Rug combines the insect blocking power of the Buzz-Off mesh with a waterproof upper panel, creating a versatile rug that keeps your horse dry, cool and fly free when summer weather swings from sunshine to showers.
The upper section is crafted from waterproof, breathable material that sheds rain and shields against harmful UV rays. The lower section uses Buzz-Off fine mesh, allowing air to circulate freely while stopping flies, midges and other biting insects.
A removable neck cover offers flexible protection from poll to wither. It attaches securely when clouds gather, then detaches quickly when extra airflow is welcome. A silk-feel lining along the crest and shoulders prevents rubbing and promotes a smooth, healthy coat.
Underneath, an elasticated, detachable belly pad wraps from elbow to girth line, guarding the sensitive underbelly from insects and helping to stabilise the rug during turnout. Adjustable leg straps, a generous tail flap and a fillet string work together to keep the rug correctly positioned, even in windy conditions.
