Made from lightweight, fine mesh fabric, the rug helps block flies, midges and other biting insects while remaining breathable and cool for summer turnout. The mesh also offers valuable UV protection, reducing the risk of sunburn and coat bleaching.
The detachable neck cover provides extended protection from poll to wither and includes a silk-feel lining along the crest to reduce rubbing. When not needed, the neck cover can be easily removed for a more traditional cut, making this rug suitable for varying temperatures or less sensitive horses.
An elasticated, detachable belly pad ensures the underbelly is shielded from insects while keeping the rug securely in place. The rug also includes a T-bar front closure with Snap-lock, silk-feel lining on the shoulders, adjustable leg straps, a generous tail flap and a fillet string for complete and secure coverage.
