Description
An anatomic pelham from Mackey, made of high quality polyurethane with flexible shanks and a curb chain included. The mouthpiece measures 1.5cm thick, with an upper cheek bar of 4cm and lower cheek bar of 5cm. The anatomic shaping and flexible shanks are designed to sit more comfortably in the mouth than a rigid metal design.
A pelham combines poll and mouth pressure through a single bit, offering more control than a snaffle via two rein connections (or a single rein with rounding). As with any bit involving leverage, correct fit and rider experience matter, so get professional advice if you're new to riding in a pelham.
Delivery
The estimated dispatch or delivery time for this product is shown above below the "add to cart" button once you have made your size / colour selections. This is the most accurate estimate for this item and is updated based on current stock availability.
We stock thousands of products in our express warehouse, while others are warehoused externally. As a result, delivery times can vary between products and size/colour options.
If your order contains multiple items, we'll normally dispatch everything together once all items are ready. Please use the longest estimated lead time shown on your order to calculate when it is likely to arrive. If you require part of your order sooner, please contact our customer service team before placing your order to check this is possible. This may incur additional delivery charges.
Please note that selecting a faster delivery service such as DPD or FedEx speeds up the delivery once your order has been dispatched. It does not reduce the product handling or dispatch time shown above.
