Designed with a unique HiFLex safety mechanism, the Arena AluPro uses a stress activated locking and release system that opens the outer arm when triggered. This creates a wide opening that allows the foot to release quickly and easily in the event of a fall. Once activated, the arm can be reset with a simple one click action. The mechanism has been fully tested and certified for rider safety.
The inner arm and footplate are made from a continuous integrated metal for strength, while the opening arm uses an advanced polyamide material for improved flexibility and comfort. This blend of metal and flexible polymers reduces stiffness compared to traditional stirrups, offering a smoother riding experience. The cushioned spring effect helps absorb impact, which is ideal for riders with hip, knee or ankle discomfort and beneficial for all riders seeking improved comfort. The metal tread features triangular teeth that increase foot stability in all weather conditions.
