Measuring for a Woof Wear Medical Hoof Boot
These medical boots are sized from 0 - 9 and are measured by the width of the hoof at the widest point. To achieve the best possible fit, measure across the bottom of your horse's hoof at the widest point and use the corresponding size. These boots are a stretch fit and do need to fit snugly to work properly. However, bare in mind that if you have poultices and dressings on underneath this measurement may increase slightly.

Can I use this medical hoof boot in the field?
This boot is suitable for use on sensible horses in a dry field. We would recommend popping an overreach boot over the top to keep the medical boot on and to reduce the chance of the boot being stood on and breaking or coming off. We wouldn't recommend using this boot in a muddy field.
How long do these boots last for?
If you are using this boot for a period of time, we would normally expect it to last for 2-3 weeks in the stable/dry field on a sensible horse and with an overreach boot on. This boot isn't indestructible and may break if stood on.
Can I ride in this boot?
No, this hoof boot is not suitable for riding in.
