Heavy-Duty Biosecurity Disinfection Mat for Farms, Stables and Equestrian Facilities

Help reduce the spread of disease with the Shoof Sweetman Disinfection Mat. This high-quality biosecurity mat is designed for entrances to disease-sensitive areas, including equestrian yards, stables, farms, kennels, veterinary practices and quarantine facilities.

The mat features a permeable upper fabric that allows disinfectant solution to make effective contact with footwear, animal paws, equipment and vehicle tyres. Its impermeable base and sides help prevent leakage and leaching, keeping the disinfectant solution contained within the mat.

Simply pour a suitable disinfectant solution directly onto the mat until the foam core is fully saturated. The 85 x 60 cm mat holds approximately 8 litres of solution.

All Sweetman disinfection mats are 3 cm thick and contain a bonded urethane foam core for reliable disinfectant retention and everyday durability.

How to Use

1. Place the mat at the entrance to the disease-sensitive area.
2. Pour a suitable disinfectant solution evenly over the mat.
3. Allow the bonded foam core to absorb the solution fully.
4. Ensure footwear, paws, tyres or equipment pass over the mat before entering.
5. Top up the disinfectant solution as required.

Cleaning Instructions

Place the mat on its edge and hose it thoroughly with clean water. Leave it to drain before refilling with fresh disinfectant solution.
