Rheva Wound Protection Large

Rheva Wound Protection Large is a patented horse wound dressing designed to protect minor wounds, particularly on joints, limbs and other high-movement areas.

Its unique raised mesh creates a protective gap between the dressing and the wound. This helps shield the affected area from dirt, insects and contact with rugs or other equipment without irritating the injury.

The innovative construction helps maintain a moist, protected environment that supports the horse’s natural healing process and prevents the wound from drying out.

The water-resistant dressing can normally remain in place for up to seven days. For joints and other highly mobile areas, Rheva Extra Fixation can be applied for additional security.

How to Use

1. Clean the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Ensure the surrounding area is dry before application.
3. Position the raised mesh directly over the wound.
4. Press the adhesive edges firmly onto the surrounding skin.
5. Apply Rheva Extra Fixation when using the dressing on highly mobile areas.
6. Replace the dressing if it becomes loose, damaged or heavily soiled.
