Novagen FP Disinfectant
Novagen FP is an approved disinfectant for use where an approved product is required under UK disease control legislation. It is approved for use against specific animal diseases when diluted according to the relevant statutory instructions.
Approved Uses and Dilution Rates
- Foot and Mouth Disease: Dilute 1 part Novagen FP with 240 parts water.
- Poultry Diseases: Including avian influenza, influenza of avian origin in mammals, Newcastle disease and paramyxovirus. Dilute 1 part Novagen FP with 80 parts water.
- Tuberculosis: Dilute 1 part Novagen FP with 18 parts water.
- Other Disease Control Legislation: Where an approved disinfectant is required, dilute 1 part Novagen FP with 120 parts water.
Important: The approval at a dilution rate of 1 part Novagen FP to 120 parts water does not apply to disinfection required under specific control legislation relating to Swine Vesicular Disease.
