Description
KM Elite Ultimate Oil is manufactured and cold pressed in the UK using the highest quality ingredients
Product Overview
KM Elite Ultimate Oil is the next generation in equine oil supplementation. This carefully balanced blend of cold-pressed plant oils delivers more than 190 bio-active nutrients, including Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9 and the rare Omega-7, along with natural antioxidants, vitamins and plant sterols. It is 100 % plant-based, contains no fish oils or animal by-products, and is produced only from fully sustainable sources. Horses are natural herbivores and Ultimate Oil provides the essential fatty acids they need—without the risk of heavy metals or contaminants sometimes found in fish oils.
Why Balance Omegas?
Horses require both Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids for optimal health and performance.
These essential fats perform very different but equally vital roles:
• Omega-3 helps repair cellular walls, supports brain function and acts as a potent natural anti-inflammatory, particularly important after exercise or injury.
• Omega-6 initiates inflammation when required to stabilise injuries and fight infection.
Modern feeding regimes often provide too much Omega-6 (from cereal grains such as oats, barley and maize, and from oils such as sunflower or soya). Ultimate Oil supplies these fatty acids in a healthy 2.5 : 1 ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6, helping to restore the natural balance and support the horse’s overall wellbeing.
Key Components and Their Benefits
Flaxseed (Linseed) Oil – A naturally rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the most important equine Omega-3. Redresses the typical modern excess of Omega-6. Supports cell membrane integrity, circulatory health and a robust immune system. Promotes supple joints and helps reduce post-exercise stiffness. Enhances coat condition for a deep, natural shine and can help with dry skin or sweet itch. Contributes to reduced lactic acid build-up, helping maintain stamina in performance horses.
Wheatgerm Oil – Naturally high in Vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Acts as a powerful antioxidant to protect muscle fibres and cell membranes from oxidative stress. Supports reproductive health and overall vitality. Contributes to healthy skin and a strong immune response.
Rice Bran Oil – Renowned for its content of gamma-oryzanol and ferulic acid, compounds linked to lean muscle development and efficient metabolism. Provides cool, slow-release energy—ideal for horses requiring calorie density without 'heating'. Supplies tocotrienols and natural Vitamin E to neutralise harmful free radicals generated during hard work. Reduces reliance on high-grain diets, helping minimise the 'sugar high' and behavioural issues. Particularly beneficial for endurance horses and older animals needing easily digestible energy.
Coconut Oil – Rich in medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) such as lauric acid, which are metabolised differently from the long-chain fats found in most other oils. Provides a safe, steady energy source without excess heat production. Lauric acid has proven antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. Supports healthy digestion and may help maintain a balanced gut flora.
Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil – An ancient 'super-berry', historically used by the Greeks to give racehorses a glossy coat. Exceptional source of the rare Omega-7 fatty acid, which helps maintain and repair mucous membranes and the gastrointestinal lining. Rich in Vitamins C and E and over 150 phytonutrients, providing powerful antioxidant protection. Supports tissue healing, healthy skin and a strong immune system. Natural flavonoids and carotenoids contribute to cardiovascular health and overall resilience.
Natural Vitamin E and Rosemary Oil – Additional Vitamin E ensures a reliable supply of this essential antioxidant for muscle and immune support. Rosemary oil acts as a natural preservative, helping maintain the freshness and stability of the oil blend.

Customer Testimonials:
" I should like to know when a human version of 'Ultimate Oil' will be available, especially if it does for me what it has done for my horse! My young rescue horse is looking so much better - his coat now has a lovely sheen to it, he is itching less and his digestion is much better. The little 15yr horse which I have just acquired has changed beyond recognition. She is developing muscle along her top line where she had none, she is eating better and making better use of her food and she is also moving better. Her developing winter coat (which is very thick) despite all the mud, is easy to clean and has a lovely shine and silkiness. I shall certainly be keeping them on this Ultimate Oil". From Hazel Ashworth
" We have been using Ultimate Oil for around a month now on one of our yards after being recommended it Products"
"The benefits we have seen so far are that the skin, coat and general well-being of the horses have all come to the fore, they all look TERRIFIC"
"They are also not only running extremely well, but winning extremely well! We like it so much we are now going to start using it on our other yard as well" Sue Smith, Trainer, Auroras Encore, Grand National Winner 2013.
"My horses are athletes and only the very best is good enough. That's why they are on Ultimate Oil. For me, it's the most vital daily supplement they have as it keeps them looking great and in peak physical condition. Once you have tried it you will never use anything else". Jessie Drea, Rider for the British Equestrian Team.
"I have been using Ultimate Oil for several months now and am very pleased with the product. I believe that Ultimate Oil provides my horses with many of the extra vitamins and nutrients required by racehorses in training and this has manifested itself in improved performance and peak condition" Gary Moore, Gary More Racing.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We want to be crystal clear when it comes to managing your expectations; our website is stock managed to show you what items are available for same day dispatch and those which are externally warehoused and therefore, will take a little longer to arrive with you.
Simply make your product selections and a message will pop up telling you how long it will take us to dispatch your order; we call this our product availability message. If you are happy with the product availability message on the item, checkout your order and we will ship your order in the timeframe stated.
If you have lots of items in your basket, please use the longest product availability message to work out when your order will arrive. We care about our environmental impact, so we don't split ship orders unless you get in touch to request that we do so. We will let you know on your order confirmation when we expect your order will arrive with you.
Whilst we do our best to meet the handling times stated in the product availability message, occasionally we can experience some delays in the delivery network. At these times, a team member will email you to keep you updated on the progress of your order.
Selecting FedEx or DPD does not change our expected handling times; the service selected is always from the point of despatch not purchase.
If you do require an order urgently, please contact us before ordering to ensure we can accommodate your requirements as we hate to be party poopers!
