Demotec 95 is a professional hoof repair treatment system designed for the effective treatment of claw injuries in cattle. Its superior moulding consistency creates a smooth, malleable paste that does not stick to your hands, making application quick, clean and straightforward.

Supplied as a complete hoof repair kit, Demotec 95 includes wooden hoof blocks and rapid-hardening bonding agents to securely fix the block to the healthy claw. An accelerator is included to halve the curing time, allowing for faster application and reduced handling time.

How Demotec 95 Works

Demotec 95 uses a two-part quick-setting resin supplied as a powder and liquid. When mixed together in the supplied beaker, the ingredients rapidly form a putty-like, malleable paste that is easy to shape and does not stick to your hands.

The paste is applied directly to the prepared sole of the healthy claw and the wooden hoof block. The block is then positioned onto the claw and the remaining material is moulded around the join to create a strong, secure bond. This helps transfer weight away from the injured claw, supporting comfort and recovery.

Mixing and Application Instructions

1. Clean and thoroughly dry the healthy claw before application.
2. Measure 35ml of liquid into the supplied mixing beaker.
3. Add one 70g sachet of Demotec 95 powder.
4. Mix thoroughly using the supplied spatula.
5. Within seconds, the mixture will form a soft, putty-like paste.
6. Apply the paste evenly to both the sole of the healthy claw and the wooden hoof block.
7. Position the block firmly onto the healthy claw.
8. Mould the remaining paste around the join to create a secure bond.
9. Allow the resin to cure fully before the animal bears weight on the block.

Important: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the hoof is clean and dry before application to achieve optimum adhesion.
