For horses spending long periods unsupervised in a field, protection is important – particularly if the horse is prone to injuries or is quite inquisitive! In circumstances where your horse needs to wear a headcollar in the field (tricky to catch, for example) it needs to be “field safe” and designed to give or break if the horse gets caught to prevent injury to the horse’s head and face.
