The Sprenger KK Ultra Eggbutt Snaffle is the ideal choice for horses that struggle to maintain consistency in the contact and need a little more stability in their mouth.The Sprenger KK Ultra Eggbutt Snaffle is a fixed cheek snaffle which features a central lozenge also known as a bean. This central lozenge is set at 45 degrees forward which means that it sits comfortably and evenly on the tongue. As the bean sits evenly on the centre of the tongue, once contact is taken up, the bean takes advantage of the sensitivity of the tongue and applies pressure allowing for enhanced communication. The unique design prevents upper palate interference and ensures that the tongue does not become pinched or squeezed.

The Eggbutt design is suitable for horses that are sensitive in the mouth as the fixed cheek design prevents excessive movement and reduces the risk of pinching the corners which may happen in a loose ring design. The Eggbutt design prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth making it ideal for riders with inconsistent feel.
