This affordable lightweight, waterproof and breathable Shires turnout rug is suitable for mild, wet weather. The Shires Tempest Lite Rug features a detachable neck design for optimum fit and versatility with a lightweight yet durable 600 denier ShireTex ripstop outer. This lightweight turnout rug contains no fill making it ideal for horses that don't feel the cold but suffer during the wetter seasons. The Shires Tempest Lite is fully lined, features front buckle fastenings, fully adjustable cross surcingle’s, adjustable fillet strap and a tail flap. This rug does not offer leg strap loops.

This lightweight Shires turnout rug is compatible with the Shires Warmarug liner system for adding extra weight when required.
