The Shires EquiKind Ripple Eggbutt Snaffle is a flexible, lightweight mouthpiece offering the same qualities as rubber with improved flexibility. This bit is an ideal choice for younger horses or those who are adverse to metal as the EquiKind material is warmer and softer in the mouth, encouraging acceptance. This bit material is also apple flavoured for palatability.

The Shires Equikind Ripple Eggbutt Snaffle offers a fixed cheek design providing greater stability in the mouth whilst the 18mm mullen mouthpiece provides a mild action on the tongue; the small ripples on the mouthpiece offer greater areas of pressure. This mouthpiece is very popular with young horses to help them become accustomed with taking the bit.
