The Shires EquiKind+ Eggbutt Peanut Link Snaffle is a kind, mild bit which helps to encourage a softer contact. The peanut link disperses pressure across the tongue and doesn't interfere with the palate. This bit is stainless steel with EquiKind+ coating; this combination offers a thinner mouthpiece than rubber bits, making them more comfortable for horses with smaller mouths or larger tongues which may not have a lot of room within the mouth. EquiKind+ bits are ideal for sensitive mouths or horses which are adverse to metal bits.

Fixed Eggbutt cheeks are ideal for horses with sensitive lips as they prevent pinching. These fixed cheeks stabilise the mouthpiece which gives the horse confidence and reassurance while encouraging the horse to seek the contact.
