NAF Omega Oil provides slow-release energy which is efficiently metabolised by the horse, and is recommended as a source of energy for performance horses such as those competing in eventing, high level dressage and endurance. Feeding oil is an established part of many equine diets, with it being used as part of the energy quotient of the diet. The superior quality and fatty acid profile of Omega Oil makes it ideal for this purpose.

When changing the diet to include high levels of oil, it is very important to build the amounts up gradually which then allows time for the horse's metabolism to adapt. It's recommended that the oil is balanced with anti-oxidants; NAF D-Tox or Vitamin E, Selenium & Lysine are recommended.
