The Neue Schule Waterford Pelham Bit is a strong horse bit ideal for use in and out of the show ring. This bit has proved very popular, especially for cresty show cobs that have a tendancy to lean on the bit forcing the rider forward. The design of the bit promotes the horse to soften and carry himself adequately, encouraging freedom through the shoulder and neck.
Unlike regular Waterford bits, Neue Schule have redesigned this pelham bit with lip rests to eradicate rubbing to the sensitive corners of the lips. As the 14mm mouthpiece bends in all directions, it prevents leaning and ensures the horse carries himself throughout the show ring.
This bit is not dressage legal, supplied with a polished stainless steel curb chain and is available in a variety of sizes with 7cm shanks.
