The Neue Schule Waterford Hanging Cheek Baucher Bit is ideal for horses that struggle to offer a consistent contact in a regular snaffle. The Baucher offers mild poll pressure which helps to reduce resistance and develop a more consistent carriage; when poll pressure is applied, the mouthpiece lifts in the mouth taking pressure off the tongue and the bars clarifying the aid for head down.
Unlike regular Waterford bits, Neue Schule have redesigned the classic waterford with lip rests to eradicate rubbing to the sensitive corners of the lips. This makes the bit more comfortable whilst still preventing the horse from taking a hold and leaning on the bit.
This bit is not dressage legal and available in a variety of widths with a 14mm mouthpiece.
